Step back in time at Hudson Carriage House
Steeped in American history and straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting, this 1842 Carriage House stands proudly with its three levels and room for six short-term guests, just off the buzzing main thoroughfare for collectors – Warren Street. If you shut your eyes, you can almost hear the romantic sound of the clippity-clop of horse-drawn carriages making their way around the picturesque streets of Hudson.
Reimagined for the 21st century
The Hudson Carriage House preserves the past architecture whilst embracing contemporary ergonomic and aesthetic needs with a completely re-imagined lower carriage level, complete with breakfast kitchen and full bathroom that could be rented separately or with the upper two levels of the house.
The journey continues with the upper two floors.
Firstly, you are met with a brand new open-plan kitchen, inspired by the original design that cascades into a lux living room framed by the original bay window. This level is rounded out by a full bathroom off of the kitchen.
The sleeping quarters on the upper level are the essence of 18th-century inspired romance, with a classic peek-a-boo window, vaulted ceilings, and another full bathroom. This thoughtful restoration provides the most bespoke guest experience not to be matched in Hudson. The upper level is divided to allow room for two more family members; separated for privacy by a set of french doors.
